Name: Alex Portelli
Title: Game Day Operations
Alex graduated from the University of Louisville majoring in Sport Administration with a minor in marketing. His previous experience includes working with the Louisville Fire Football team(AF2) as their equipment manager. During the inaugural season Alex was the equipment manager. Following the season he became a project manager for the summer camps and tournament. Alex will carry
over his experience last year with the Lightning by helping out with game day operations.
Alex has previously worked with the Louisville Fire Arena Football Team in 2008 as the equipment manager.
Goals for the organization:
His goal is to provide an entertaining form of soccer to the city of Louisville for people of all ages to enjoy. With hard work and dedication the Louisville Lightning will become a successful team in the PASL.
Future Goals:
Alex’s goal is to continue learning more about sports at the professional level. One day he hopes to work as a marketing coordinator for a professional team.
