Most errors in performance, including in soccer, begin with mental errors. Dr. Wilson’s goal is to teach Louisville Lightning soccer players how to “Perform under Pressure.” Performance at the optimal level includes learning how to play at the right level of intensity to maximize soccer training. When performing at this level, the player makes fewer errors caused by emotional overloading and also reduces the risk of forgetting to play within one’s self.
Dr. Wilson is pleased to join the Louisville Lightning for its inaugural year.
