"They say Lightning never strikes twice in the same place"...apparently they didn't mean the LOUISVILLE LIGHTNING! In their third meeting with the Detroit Waza, the Lightning came out victorious in a hostile environment and succeed in sweeping the Waza during regular season play. 

The team for the evening was comprised of Safet, Volk, Boyer, Horne, Staggs, Bueno, Hagarty, Hayden, Judah, Kincheloe, Mercier and Peabody.

Scoring for the evening was Horne with 4, Safet with 1 goal and 1 assist, Hagerty 1, Hayden 1 and 1 assist, Judah 1 and Gabe 1 goal, 1 assist! The leading assist maker was Volk with 2 assists and Staggs contributed with an assist as well.

With only three games left in the season, each game is a must win to take top spot in the Eastern Division of the PASL-PRO.  This Friday, the Lightning travel to Cincinnati to take on the 1790 Cincinnati Express.  Our next home game is February 19th against Cincinnati also.  These are critical games as we trail the Cincinnati team by one game.  We are encouraging all Lightning fans to make the drive to Cincinnati to support the team in this pivotal game!!! Let the Traveling Thunder Fan Zone make it presence known!!!
