College: Butler University: 5 year player with 3 years as starting goalkeeper. Led the country in save percentage (SPG 7.80)  and Goals Against Average ( GAA 0.250)  for Division 1 Men’s soccer in 2005. Posted third best goals against average in Butler men’s soccer history; named to Butler Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. Held single season list for shutouts and lead Butler to a record NCAA ranking of 14th in the nation in winning percentage (.800). Horizon League Men’s Soccer Athlete in 2005.
 
 
Club/Prep/High School: All-state goalkeeper at St. Xavier High School, lead team to state title in 2000 and state runner-up in 2001. Team Captain senior year and earned three varsity letters.

Personal:  Current General Manager for Mockingbird Valley Soccer Club, Goalkeeper Director and Youth Program Director. Goalkeeper Trainer and Assistant Coach for Bellarmine University. U-10 & U-12 Boys Coach for MVSC Select.  Olympic Development Assistant Goalkeeper Coach.  Butler Summer Camp Goalkeeper Assistant.  Moved back to Louisville in 2006 after graduating from Butler with a BA in Marketing and have been at MVSC since.

What is your most memorable soccer moment: Any championship, won or lost, that I have played in.
 
 
Who was your favorite coach and why? Mike Sanach, Goalkeeper coach at Butler University (currently at IU). He made me a smarter, better goalkeeper and shared his knowledge of the game with me.
 
 
What would you recommend to young players who want to become a professional athlete?:  Work ethic will take you anywhere you want to go. It’s not easy -  otherwise everyone would do it. But if you’re willing to work for it, you can play at any level.

Best part about being a professional athlete: Continuing to play the best game in the world at a high level. Continuing to learn about the game and sharing that experience with the youth in our community. Oh, and getting paid is nice!
