College: Transylvania University: I was fortunate enough to be a 4 year starter and 4 year team MVP for the University.  We won 3 out of 4 conference championships, I was selected to the first team all conference team 4 times and selected as Freshman player of the year in 01’ and Conference player of the year in 04’.  In 04’ we made it to the NCAA tournament for the first time in school history in our first year of eligibility.  I was also selected to the first team all-region team and earned all-American honors my senior year. 

Club/Prep/High School:

I played for Lexington FC during my club years and Lexington Catholic High School

Personal: I am married to my lovely wife, Brooke Kincheloe who is a native of Louisville, Ky.  I am the son of David and Janet Kincheloe two of the most supportive parents anyone could ask for. I have two sisters, one older sister, Samantha and one younger sister, Kimberly.  I am the proud Uncle of Briar Rose and Beuford Templin my oldest sisters children.

What is your favorite move on the field: I’m a defender! 

 

What is your most memorable soccer moment: Playing in the NCAA tournament my senior year at Transylvania University. 
 

Who was your favorite coach and why?: My Transy Coaches, Brandon Bowmen and Parviz Zartoshty, for helping me develop into a better player and Dexter Sandy for his guidance and continued friendship. 

 

What would you recommend to young players who want to become a professional athlete? Hard work and persistence, you don’t have to go to the top soccer schools or always play for the best clubs to achieve your dreams.  Put in the work on your own and you can achieve great heights.

 

Best part about being a professional athlete: The opportunity to play the top competition day in and day out.
